Dentist

In a valiant oral hygiene effort - I made an appointment to send my toddler to the dentist.
What was I thinking??

As it turned out - Drew was FABULOUS!
They cleaned his teeth, scraped some tarter off, flossed and then he got to rummage in the treasure chest when it was all done.

Awesome!

Drew got to wear sunglasses to minimize the glare. At one point I held his hand to see if he was all stiff and nervous (like normal people would get) and nope - his arm was loose and relaxed.


This is the treasure chest! Choosing a toy did take a while...

Inauguration Day

I was happy to find out that Drew's preschool class watched a bit of the inauguration and learned about the new President. On the way home, Drew and I had this conversation.

Me: Drew, so you know that we have a new President now?
Drew: Yes, Barak Obama! and there were cannons!
M: What else do you know?
D: He lives in a house that is white - like the boat on Nemo.
M: Oh...
D: And he lives at the Capitol. Hey, where is the Capitol?
M: Washington, D.C.
D: I wanna go there momma. I wanna go there and give him a big hug.
